T-Pain Profile
Faheem Rasheed Najm, better known as T-Pain, is a singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer from Florida, USA.
After recording a cover version of Akon’s Locked Up, T-Pain was signed to Konvict Music and released his debut album Rappa Ternt Sang in 2005. It reached the Top 40 on the Billboard 200, having sold over 800,000 copies to date, and produced three singles: the Top 10 hits I’m Sprung and I’m ‘n Liv (Wit a Stripper) and Studio Luv.
The rapper’s second album, 2007’s Epiphany, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and produced the US number one hit Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’), as well as the number five single Bartender (ft. Akon). 2008’s Thr33 Ringz was also a success, producing three Top 40 singles: Can’t Believe It, Chopped & Skrewed (ft. Ludacris) and Freeze (ft. Chris Brown).
T-Pain’s fourth album rEVOLVEr is due out in 2010.
