Plain White T’s is an American pop rock band, currently consisting of Tom Higgenson (vocals, acoustic guitar), Tim Lopez (lead guitar), Dave Tirio (rhythm guitar), Mike Retondo (bass guitar ) and De’Mar Hamilton (drums, percussion).
Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1997, the group didn’t achieve their mainstream breakthrough until the release of their third album in 2005. All That We Needed reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Indie chart and produced the number one smash hit single Hey There Delilah.
The group’s next album Every Second Counts was released in 2006. It reached number ten on the Billboard 200 and produced the hit singles Our Time and Hate (I Really Don’t Like You). This was followed by 2008’s Big Bad World, which has produced the singles Natural Disaster and 1, 2, 3, 4 to date.
