Leona Lewis Profile
Leona Lewis is a pop and R&B singer-songwriter who shot to fame as the winner of British talent show The X Factor. She released her debut single A Moment Like This in December 2006 - and within thirty minutes it had 50,000 downloads. It subsequently spent four weeks at number one in the UK.
Lewis released her full debut album Spirit the following year and it hit the summit of the charts in both the UK and the US, producing the international number one hit Bleeding Love and the Top 10 releases Better in Time and Run. It was nominated for two Grammy Awards and, to date, has sold over 6.5 million copies.
With her second album Echo released in December 2009 - reaching number one in the UK and producing the hit singles Happy and I Got You - the future looks very bright for Ms Lewis.
