James Blunt Profile
James Hillier Blount, aka James Blunt is a British singer-songwriter and musician.
Blunt shot to fame with the release of his debut album Back to Bedlam in 2003. It shot straight to number one in the UK and Australia and number two in the US, selling over eleven million copies worldwide. It went on to become the UK’s bestselling record of the 2000s and earned Blunt two Ivor Novello Awards and five Grammy nominations.
The album’s lead single You’re Beautiful became a global smash hit, reaching the top of the charts in the UK, Canada the US, and this was followed by the UK Top 40 singles High, Goodbye My Lover and Wiseman.
The singer’s second album, 2007’s All The Lost Souls, produced the hit single 1973 as well as Same Mistake, Carry You Home, I Really Want You and Love, Love, Love.
