Billy Talent Profile
Billy Talent, formerly known as Pezz, is a Canadian alternative rock/punk band, consisting of Ben Kowalewicz on vocals, Ian D’Sa on lead guitar, Jon Gallant on bass and Aaron Solowoniuk on drums and percussion.
The group signed with Atlantic Records/Warner Music Canada and released their self-titled album Billy Talent in 2003. The album was certified 3x platinum in Canada and also found limited success in the US and the UK with the singles Try Honesty, The Ex, River Below and Nothing to Lose.
The group’s follow up album, Billy Talent II, was released in June 2006 and produced the singles Devil in a Midnight Mass, Red Flag, Fallen Leaves, Surrender and This Suffering, while their latest album, Billy Talent III, was released in July 2009 and spawned the singles Turn Your Back, Rusted from the Rain, Devil on My Shoulder, Saint Veronika and Diamond on a Landmine.
